An epic musical to mark Broadway Training Center’s epic return to Irvington Theater! With 39 years in London’s West End (and still going), eight Tonys, and an Academy Award-winning film adaptation, Les Misérables has been seen by over 70 million people worldwide in 45 countries in 22 languages, and shows no signs of slowing down. There’s literally something for everyone in Les Misérables. It’s an epic musical about passion, destruction, revenge, poverty, and hope — all set against the French revolution. It’s a relatable story about redemption and survival coupled with a goosebump-inducing score. Les Misérables is the quintessential musical, having achieved legendary status across the world. Jason Brantman and Fiona Santos kicked off their tenure as Broadway Training Center’s Co-Artistic Directors 20 years ago with a production of Les Misérables on the Irvington Theater stage, so it’s only fitting that this epic production marks such an epic anniversary!

Les Misérables School Edition features music by Claude-Michel Schönberg, lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer, original French text by Alain Boublil and Jean-Marc Natel, and additional material by James Fenton. It was based on the novel by Victor Hugo.
